Thesis Progress
This semester, I have started work on my thesis. So far, I have completed a draft of the literature review and methodology chapters, as well as a draft of my REB application. It has been a challenge to maintain my proposed timeline, but so far so good. The next step is to choose committee members and provide them with a polished version of chapters. After they've accepted my first three chapters, I will be able to submit my REB application and then start collecting data this summer.
In March 2010, I facilitated a workshop at the TESL Hamilton-Wentworth Spring Conference. This was my first experience as a conference presenter. Preparing for this conference and facilitating the workshop, was a great experience and networking opportunity. The feedback from the participants provided reflection that will be valuable for future conferences.
